If you are planning a Jordan trip, Royal Jordanian has direct flights from Abu Dhabi to Aqaba. The good part is that if you enter through Aqaba Airport, UAE residents can get a free visa (subject to applicable entry requirements).
Aqaba is a solid base to explore Jordan from, you have the Red Sea, Petra, Wadi Rum, and the food is great too.
Love Jordan ❤️
