Community Guidelines

1. What HalaSaves is for

HalaSaves is for retail deals anyone in the UAE can use — discounts, promo codes, freebies, restaurant offers, flash sales. If your post would help a stranger save money on something they were going to buy anyway, it belongs here.

2. What we'll remove

We'll remove a post if it falls into one of these:

• Personal item sales. Selling your own phone, perfume, or furniture isn't a deal — it's a classified. Try Dubizzle.
• Off-topic posts. Job listings, auctions, services for hire, freelance gigs.
• Not available in the UAE. US-only deals, India-only deals, anything that needs a foreign address or card.
• Misleading prices. Inflated “was” prices, fake discounts, deals that disappear when you click through.
• Obvious duplicates. Search before you post — if the same deal is already on the feed, upvote it instead.

3. Referral and affiliate links

It's fine if the deal is genuinely good for everyone — for example, a Sharaf DG promo where your link gives the next shopper an extra AED 50 off. It's not fine if you're just dropping your refer-a-friend link with no real saving for the next person. We'll remove the second kind.

4. What happens if a post is removed

We'll email you the reason. Most of the time it's an honest mismatch — share something else and we'll happily put it on the feed. Repeat violations may lead to your account being temporarily or permanently blocked.

5. Comments and behaviour

Be civil. No spam, no harassment, no personal attacks. English and Arabic are both fine. If you're flagging a deal as expired or out of stock, use the in-page button — don't pile on in the comments.
