Dubai Airport Terminal Has Joined Dubai Mallathon For Month of August

Terminal 3 of Dubai International Airport has now recently joined the Dubai Mallathon for the month of August. The next session will take place on Friday August 14 at Terminal 3, Concourse B.

There will be two sessions to choose from, running from 7.30am to 9.30am and 9.30am to 11.30am. Participants can choose between a 750-metre route or a longer 1.5-kilometre walk, making it suitable for different ages and fitness levels.

There’s no cost to join and no registration is required.

What is Dubai Mallathon?

Dubai Mallathon was launched by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai.

The initiative transforms shopping malls across Dubai into air-conditioned walking and running tracks during the summer, making exercise more accessible when temperatures soar.

The 2025 edition attracted more than 40,000 participants, who clocked up more than 120 million steps across participating malls. It also set a Guinness World Records title for the Most Runners in a Mall Run Event.

The 2026 edition is running across participating malls until September 15, with DXB now taking the concept outside the traditional mall setting.

If you’re travelling through Terminal 3 and want to take part, head to the Family Zone near Gate B28 in Concourse B. **Where: Dubai International Airport, Terminal 3, Concourse B
