GLM 5.2 is an advanced large language and multimodal model from the GLM ( General Language Model ) model series, which is primarily developed by Zhipu AI in collaboration with research teams from Tsinghua University.

• Architecture and performance: The model is based on an autoregressive transformer structure with bidirectional attention mechanisms ( General Language Model Architecture ). It is optimized for complex tasks in the areas of logical reasoning, mathematical problem-solving, and code generation.

• Multilingualism and context processing: GLM 5.2 features strong bilingual support for Chinese and English, as well as support for numerous other languages. An expanded context area enables the processing and analysis of large documents and codebases.

• Multimodality and tool use: In addition to purely textual processing, the model supports multimodal inputs (e.g. image and data analysis) and is trained for use as an AI agent that can control external tools, programming interfaces (APIs) and web searches in a structured manner.
